As Junior Software Developer You will be joining a multidisciplinary team, Webtools, which develops internal and external tools.


Junior Software Developer (Ref. 2023-S-03)

Location: Sevilla


Your tasks:

You will be joining a multidisciplinary team, Webtools, which develops internal and external tools. At the moment we have two projects on which you would be working:


  • myPhiltotech. You will join a project to generate an extensible internal tool for check-in and check-out tracking, time dedication tracking, holidays management, generating reports... following the methodologies and processes used by the rest of the company's engineers in the development of embedded SW for projects in sectors such as aerospace and automotive. The client is the company itself but more specifically all department managers and administration employees since this tool will automize and simplify many of the tasks they need to do. The language used is C++.


  • GoogleAppsScripts. You will join a project to handle offer information (i.e.: receive an input file, generate a template from that on which the client may edit the offer´s information and then extract output files, generate plannings and so on). The client is Airbus and the language is based on JavaScript.


    What do we expect from you?


    • Flexibility to change context since you will be required to work on both projects, depending on the workload and deadlines of each one.
    • Experience with some software for control version (SVN or git/GitLab preferably).
    • Analyse, design and develop software applications starting from high level requirements.
    • Apply and improve modern C++ and JavaScript knowledge, programming skills in OOP and in general.
    • Research and study about the web development framework WebToolkit.
    • Use about specific tools/processes involved in the software engineering domain: Requirements Traceability Tool, Task Manager, Integrated Development Environment, Version control, configuration management and so on.
    • Perform detailed but agile code and functional reviews to make sure the delivery quality is at its best as we use a cross-review process.

Your profile:

  • Education: engineering, computer science preferably.
  • Experience: 1 year working with C++/Javascript
  • Specific knowledge: C++ and/or Javascript
  • English is mandatory
